Ryan J Raffa is an interdisciplinary artist based in Taipei, Taiwan. Their work is rooted in the transformative power of improvisation, informed by personal geographies, the prismatic lens of Eastern thought, and observations within our shared sonic vocabularies.

Recent solo works include Memory Field at the Mastu Biennial and the albums 4 e and a (Group Tightener) and We Have Always Existed (Aural Canyon). Collaborative projects include Out Beyond Is (Longform Editions) as Reign of Ferns and the sound installation Sound of the Beyond with Lim Giong.
